Daiso Korea New Beauty Arrivals (October 2026): Prices & What Korean Shoppers Say

Daiso Korea keeps adding new skincare at ₩1,000–₩5,000. That’s under $4.
The hard part is knowing which of the new items are actually good.

We picked six beauty products that reached Daiso Korea between late August and early October 2026. We only chose items that already had at least 80 reviews from Korean buyers. Then we read 41–50 reviews per product on Daiso Mall, Daiso’s official online store. For each one you’ll find the price, the Korean name to show store staff, and what Korean reviewers praised and complained about again and again.

How we did this. We did not test these products ourselves. Everything below is a summary of Korean shopper reviews and the rating data on Daiso Mall as of October 9, 2026. For each product we read the 20 “most helpful” reviews and the 30 newest, and skipped reviews with no text. A point counts as a pattern only if at least three reviewers said it. Nobody paid us or sent us products.

Prices in USD use ₩1,338.5 = $1 (Seoul close, Oct 8, 2026), rounded.

Daiso Mall also asks reviewers to tag their skin type and rate things like moisture and irritation. We include those percentages below because they’re real counts, not opinions.

    1. VT PDRN Tone On Jelly Essence (₩5,000)

Korean name to show staff: VT PDRN 톤온 젤리 에센스
Size: 50 ml · On Daiso Mall since: Sept 10, 2026

VT PDRN Tone On Jelly Essence at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000, 4.8/5 from 338 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

VT is the brand behind the Reedle Shot that many visitors already know. It also sells a ₩1,000 PDRN sheet mask at Daiso that has a big following. Many Korean reviewers said they bought this essence because it felt like “that mask, in a bottle.”

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The jelly texture stays put on your face instead of running down.
    • It feels moist but not sticky.
    • Makeup goes on smoothly over it.

Complaints: none came up three times or more. A couple of reviewers found it thinner than they expected. One reviewer with very dry, sensitive skin said they had to layer it several times.

From 776 reviewer tags: 42% dry skin, 26% oily, 22% normal, 8% sensitive. 63% rated it “moisturizing,” and 60% rated it “gentle.” Almost nobody (under 1%) said it irritated their skin.

    2. VT PDRN Tone On Capsule Gel Cream (₩5,000)

Korean name: VT PDRN 톤온 캡슐 젤 크림
Size: 50 ml · On Daiso Mall since: Sept 10, 2026

VT PDRN Tone On Capsule Gel Cream at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000, 4.8/5 from 249 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

This is the cream from the same line. You can see tiny capsules floating in a clear gel.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s a gel cream, so it feels light rather than heavy.
    • The capsules melt as soon as you rub them in. Reviewers said they don’t leave bits on the skin.
    • Makeup doesn’t pill on top of it.

Complaints: no repeated pattern. Two reviewers felt it may not be rich enough for very dry skin in deep winter. One person found it heavier than a typical gel cream.

From 604 reviewer tags: 34% dry, 31% oily, 27% normal, 6% sensitive. 66% rated it “moisturizing,” and 68% rated it “gentle.”

Essence or cream? (See our full VT PDRN comparison.) Several Korean reviewers use the two together. If you only buy one, the tags point in different directions. The essence had more dry-skin reviewers (42%). The cream had a more even mix of skin types.

    3. Dermafirm PDRN Exosome Glow Plumping Shot 2X (₩5,000)

Korean name: 더마펌 PDRN 엑소좀 글로우 플럼핑샷 2X
    Size: 20 ml

Dermafirm PDRN Exosome Glow Plumping Shot 2X at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000, 4.9/5 from 91 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

This one comes in a syringe-style tube, and that design is a big part of why people are talking about it. It is one of three “shots” in the same line. Daiso labels the other two as a retinoid “pore” version and a niacinamide “spot” version. We only covered the PDRN version here.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The syringe tube makes it easy to squeeze out just a little.
    • It feels moist and isn’t sticky.
    • The packaging looks far more expensive than ₩5,000.

Common complaint: several reviewers said they hadn’t seen a visible change yet. Others mentioned the small size, and that you can’t see how much is left. One reviewer with sensitive skin reported breakouts.

From 276 reviewer tags: 28% dry, 26% normal, 24% sensitive, 20% oily. 82% rated it “moisturizing” and 79% “gentle.” That’s the highest moisture score of the six, and the highest gentleness score of the four products that had that tag.

A note on reviews: many of this product’s earliest reviews are long, polished, launch-week write-ups. We gave more weight to points that also showed up in the newer reviews.

    4. Arocell Pepta-Collagen Ampoule Gel Mask (₩2,000 per sheet)

Korean name: 아로셀 펩타콜라겐 앰플 겔 마스크
First reviews on Daiso Mall: late August 2026

Arocell Pepta-Collagen Ampoule Gel Mask at Daiso Korea: ₩2,000, 4.7/5 from 358 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

Korean reviewers describe Arocell’s gel masks as famous from home-shopping TV, where they come in bulk boxes. Daiso sells them one sheet at a time. A few reviewers said it kept selling out before they could buy it.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • Reviewers leave it on overnight and wake up to skin that feels bouncy.
    • You get the well-known Arocell gel mask as a single, cheap sheet.

Common complaint: you have to leave it on for a long time before the gel turns clear and soaks in. Make it an evening mask, not something you do in a rush.

From 812 reviewer tags: 39% normal, 34% dry, 19% oily, 5% sensitive. Only 46% called it “moisturizing” and 50% said “average.” That’s noticeably lower than the VT products. If hydration is your main goal, keep that in mind.

    5. OOTD Lab Star Spot Patch (₩2,000 for 24)

Korean name: 오오티디 랩 스타 스팟패치
On Daiso Mall since: Sept 4, 2026

OOTD Lab Star Spot Patch at Daiso Korea: ₩2,000 for 24, 4.8/5 from 236 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

These are star-shaped patches in mint and lilac. Korean reviewers range from teenagers to parents buying them for their high-schoolers.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The star shape is cute, so people don’t mind wearing them in public.
    • They stay on through face-washing and long days. One reviewer wore them through a 12-hour festival.
    • They’re cheaper than similar star patches sold elsewhere.

Complaints: no repeated pattern. One reviewer wished they came in more than one size. Another said a few patches slid around inside the bag and got wasted.

We’re not summarizing what reviewers said about breakouts healing. That’s a medical question, and individual results vary.

    6. Dermablock Cover BB Cream, No. 21 (₩5,000)

Korean name: 더마블록 커버 비비크림 21호
    Size: 30 g · On Daiso Mall since: Aug 28, 2026

Dermablock Cover BB Cream No. 21 at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000, 4.6/5 from 83 reviews
Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

Korean shade numbers go from light to deep: 19 is lighter than 21, and 23 is deeper. Daiso carries the Cover BB in 19, 21 and 23. It also sells an Original BB in Light and Medium, and a White Tone-Up version.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The coverage is decent for a ₩5,000 BB.
    • No. 21 comes out on the bright side. A few reviewers suggested 19 if you want an even brighter look.

Common complaint: on dry skin it can look dry or patchy. Reviewers recommend moisturizing well first and applying a thin layer.

From 171 reviewer tags: 43% normal, 38% dry, 15% oily, 1% sensitive. On moisture, 26% said “moist,” 57% “average” and 15% “a little dry.” That’s the weakest moisture score of the six.

    Go deeper

    Before you go shopping

    • Daiso stores vs. Daiso Mall. Signing up on Daiso Mall usually needs a Korean phone number, so most visitors buy in stores. The Korean names above help when you ask staff or search the shelf.
    • New items sell out. A few Korean reviewers mentioned this about the VT line and the Arocell masks.
    • Prices don’t change from store to store. Daiso Korea uses fixed price tiers, so ₩5,000 in Busan is ₩5,000 in Seoul.
    • Patch-test anything new, especially products with active ingredients, if your skin is sensitive.

    Quick picks

    • Dry skin: VT Jelly Essence. It had the most dry-skin reviewers, and 63% called it moisturizing. Add the Capsule Gel Cream on top if you want more.
    • Gentlest feel: Dermafirm PDRN Shot. 79% of reviewers rated it gentle.
    • Gift for friends back home: Arocell gel masks. They’re cheap, easy to pack and from a well-known name.
    • Dry skin, careful with: Dermablock BB No. 21. Prep your skin well first.

Daiso VT PDRN Line Explained: New Tone On vs Original Glow (What Korean Reviewers Say)

If you search for “Daiso VT PDRN,” you’ll quickly find there isn’t just one product. In Korean Daiso stores, VT sells two PDRN skincare lines side by side.

    • The older Glow line (광채) has some of the most-reviewed skincare on Daiso Mall. Its toner alone has more than 15,000 reviews.
    • The Tone On line (톤온) arrived in September 2026.

Everything costs ₩1,000–₩5,000, which is under $4.

We read about 50 Korean reviews for each of the eight products on Daiso Mall, Daiso’s official online store, as of October 9, 2026. Here’s how the products differ, and what buyers praised and complained about again and again. We didn’t test them ourselves, and nobody paid us.

    Prices in USD use ₩1,338.5 = $1 (Oct 8, 2026).

**For the cleanser, this is the “moist after washing” tag.

How reviewers tell the lines apart: the Glow line is about hydration and a dewy look. Tone On is the newer line, and reviewers describe it as making skin look clearer. Some use one sheet mask or the other depending on the day. We’re passing along how reviewers describe them, not making claims about results.

    The Glow line (광채)

    Glow Toner (₩5,000, 200 ml)

Korean name to show staff: VT PDRN 광채 토너

VT PDRN Glow Toner at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000 for 200 ml, 4.8/5 from 15,489 reviews

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s watery but still hydrating, and not sticky.
    • People pour it into a fine-mist spray bottle and use it as a face mist. Reviewers say the trick spread through Korean short videos.
    • 200 ml for ₩5,000 is a lot of product for the money.

    Common complaints

    • The scent is fairly strong, and people either like it or don’t.
    • It sells out often, both in stores and online.

    Glow Cream (₩5,000, 50 ml)

    • It feels light, like a gel moisturizer, and sinks in fast.
    • It leaves a soft glow on the face.
    • Good value for ₩5,000.

Common complaint: if you have dry skin, it may not be enough in winter. Even so, 68% of reviewers rated it “moisturizing,” the highest of the two lines’ creams.

Glow Sun Essence (₩5,000, 50 ml)

Korean name: VT PDRN 광채 선 에센스

VT PDRN Glow Sun Essence at Daiso Korea: ₩5,000, 4.8/5 from 2,934 reviews

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It leaves a strong dewy glow.
    • Makeup doesn’t pill on top of it.
    • It spreads smoothly and doesn’t leave a white cast.

Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The jelly sheet clings to your face, so the essence doesn’t drip.
    • Skin stays moist for a long time afterward.

Complaints: none repeated. Several reviewers said they alternate between this and the Glow sheet mask.

Tone On Gel Cleanser (₩3,000, 100 ml)

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s gentle enough for everyday use.
    • 100 ml for ₩3,000 is cheap.

    Common complaints

    • As a gel, it doesn’t lather much.
    • The tube opening is small, so it’s hard to squeeze out.

    What to buy

    • If you only buy one thing: the Glow Toner. It has by far the most reviews and gives you a lot of product. It sells out, so grab it if you see it.
    • For dry skin: the Glow Sheet Mask (73% “moisturizing”) plus the Glow Cream or the Tone On Capsule Gel Cream.
    • Under makeup: the Tone On Jelly Essence or the Glow Sun Essence. Reviewers say neither pills.
    • For oily skin, careful with: the Glow Sun Essence, because it can look greasy.
    • You can skip: the Tone On Gel Cleanser, unless you want a very gentle wash.

Also at Daiso: VT’s Reedle Shot ampoules come in small vials at Daiso Korea. The Reedle Shot 100 is ₩3,000 for six 2 ml vials, with 4.9/5 from about 17,000 reviews on Daiso Mall. We’ll cover it separately.

  • Daiso Korea Pimple Patches Compared: Star Patch vs Madeca vs Haeserin (2026)

Daiso Korea Pimple Patches Compared: Star Patch vs Madeca vs Haeserin (2026)

Daiso Korea sells at least six kinds of pimple patches for ₩1,000–₩3,000 (about $0.75–$2.24). That’s a fraction of what similar patches cost back home.
The packs look alike on the shelf, but they aren’t made for the same thing.

We read about 50 reviews for each patch on Daiso Mall, Daiso’s official online store, as of October 9, 2026. Below is what Korean buyers repeatedly said about how thin each patch is, how much it shows, how well it stays on, and how many you get.

What we don’t cover: whether a patch “heals” a breakout. Many reviewers talk about that, but it’s a medical question and results vary, so we left those comments out. We didn’t test the patches ourselves.

    Prices in USD use ₩1,338.5 = $1 (Oct 8, 2026), rounded.

“Before” vs “after” patches. Korean spot patches are often sold for two stages. Thin, clear ones go on a spot you haven’t touched. Thicker ones go on a spot after you’ve popped it. The two Madeca 21 patches are a pair like this, and reviewers use them that way.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • The hearts are cute.
    • It’s cheaper than similar patches elsewhere.
    • People put it on as an accent, not to cover a spot.

Complaints: none repeated. Two reviewers found the colors very noticeable. One said the edges lift when you sweat.

Korean name: 마데카21 릴리프 스팟 케어 패치

    • It’s hard to spot even over makeup.
    • 68 patches for ₩2,000 is a lot for the price.

Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

This is the “after” partner to the Relief patch. It’s thicker and holds its shape, and reviewers mostly use it after popping a spot.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • They use it after popping a spot.
    • Several call it good value.

Common complaint: you only get 24 for the same ₩2,000 that buys 68 Relief patches. Some reviewers think it’s pricey for the count, while others still call it good value.

Madeca Medi Patch Spot (₩3,000 for 33)

    Korean name: 마데카 메디패치 스팟

Madeca Medi Patch Spot at Daiso Korea: ₩3,000 for 33, 4.9/5 from 3,805 reviews

This is the cheapest patch here. The yellow pack is Haeserin’s “after popping” type. The listing doesn’t state how many patches are inside. One reviewer said theirs had half large and half medium patches.

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s so cheap that people buy several packs at once.
    • It sticks well.
    • It’s easy to put on after popping a spot.

Complaints: none repeated. One reviewer said it gets slippery after a long time in warm water.

    • To wear under makeup or out in public without anyone noticing: Madeca 21 Relief. It’s thin, clear and cheap per patch.
    • After you’ve popped a spot: Madeca 21 Clear or Haeserin yellow. Haeserin is half the price.
    • For long wear, and small cuts on a trip: Madeca Medi Patch Spot.
    • For fun, or as a gift for teens: OOTD Lab Star or Heart. Several Korean reviewers are parents buying them for their kids.

Shopping tip: Show staff the Korean name if you can’t find them. Prices are the same at every Daiso in Korea.

  • Arocell Masks at Daiso Korea: Gel vs Essence Sheet — Which Is Worth It? (2026)

Arocell Masks at Daiso Korea: Gel vs Essence Sheet — Which Is Worth It? (2026)

Korean reviewers know Arocell for hydrogel masks sold in bulk boxes on home-shopping TV. Since late August 2026, Daiso Korea has been selling Arocell masks one at a time. There are four of them:

    • two ampoule gel masks at ₩2,000 (about $1.49)
    • two essence sheet masks at ₩1,000 (about $0.75)

We read about 45–50 Korean reviews for each one on Daiso Mall, Daiso’s official online store, as of October 9, 2026.

The surprise: the cheaper sheet masks got better moisture ratings from reviewers than the gel masks did. Details are below. We didn’t test these ourselves, and nobody paid us.

Gel vs sheet, as reviewers describe it

    • The gel masks are thick hydrogel. They take a while to soak in and turn clear, and some reviewers say to lie down so they don’t slide off. Some people wear them overnight. One reviewer who said they’d tried all of Daiso’s gel masks found about 40 minutes was enough.
    • The sheet masks are thin and easy to put on, and they cling well. People use them as a quick daily mask, before makeup, or after the sauna or swimming. No one in the reviews we read mentioned wearing them overnight.

    Mela-Collagen Ampoule Gel Mask (₩2,000)

Korean name: 아로셀 멜라콜라겐 앰플 겔 마스크

Arocell Mela-Collagen Ampoule Gel Mask at Daiso Korea: ₩2,000, 4.7/5 from 376 reviews

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s the famous Arocell gel mask, sold as one cheap sheet.
    • Skin feels moist after you use it.

    Common complaints

    • The gel tears easily, so a few reviewers felt it was luck whether the sheet came out of the pack in one piece.
    • Several reviewers found it “fine” but less impressive than they expected.

It had the most “don’t like the scent” tags of the four (4%). One reviewer described the scent as strongly citrusy.

    Hyal-Collagen Essence Mask (₩1,000)

Korean name: 아로셀 히알콜라겐 에센스 마스크

Image: Daiso Mall · data as of Oct 9, 2026

    What Korean shoppers often mention

    • It’s moisturizing for the price.
    • As a sheet mask, it’s easy to put on.
    • At ₩1,000 you don’t think twice about using one daily.

Complaints: none repeated. One reviewer who usually prefers gel masks said this sheet hits a good middle ground between thin and thick masks.

    Which one should you buy?

    • For the most hydration for the money: the Hyal-Collagen Essence Mask (₩1,000).
    • For a slow, overnight mask: the Pepta-Collagen Gel. Of the two gels, it had fewer complaints than the Mela-Collagen.
    • As a gift: the gel masks look more special, and the Arocell name is well known in Korea. Buy a few spares, since reviewers say the Mela-Collagen gel can tear.
    • For a daily mask on a trip: either sheet mask. They’re thin and light to pack.

Selling out: several reviewers said the gel masks were out of stock in their local stores, and some ended up ordering online. If you see them, grab them.
